The Drug store Service technician Program prepares trainees to operate in different drug store settings under the direct guidance of a pharmacist. The program is made up of class, simulation, and hands-on experiences that prepares trainees carry out well on the accreditation test in addition to going into the drug store specialist occupation effectively.
The existing typical wage for drug store techs in Central Virginia is $13-15 an hour, and financial forecasts approximate a 27 percent development in this field over the next 10 years.
