This early work by R. R. Macintosh and Freda B. Bannister was initially released in the early 20 th century and we are now republishing it. ‘Essentials of General Anaesthesia’ is a detailed and helpful deal with numerous elements of anaesthesia and consists of chapters on ‘Respiration’, ‘Choice of General Anaesthetic’, ‘Ether’, and far more.
This is a remarkable work for anybody thinking about the history of anaesthetics.
