Find your prescription for success in the Pharmacy Technician program. You’ll develop an understanding of the names, appropriate uses and potential side effects of commonly prescribed medicines. In addition to studying in a simulated pharmacy where you will learn how to manage, dispense and compound prescription medicines, you’ll also learn how to fill prescriptions using advanced robotic equipment often found in high-tech pharmacies. Due to industry requirements, this program is limited to high school seniors and adults. Sophomores and juniors interested in pursuing this career path frequently enroll in Health Careers first and then transition to this program.
